World of Warcraft: Forever is Now Live!
Blizzard Entertainment has officially launched World of Warcraft: Forever, a reimagined experience designed to offer a permanent home alongside modern and Classic WoW. Set in the era between the events of Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and the Molten Core raid, the game takes players on an adventure across the original continents up to level 60, introducing new stories and updated mechanics inspired by years of player feedback.
World of Warcraft: Forever aims to prioritize community and exploration, allowing players to revisit old favorites or discover new destinations at their own pace. This isn't just a remaster; it is an expansion of the Azeroth experience, blending classic aesthetics with modern quality-of-life improvements and new content designed to make the journey as meaningful as the destination.

Explore New and Reimagined Zones
The game expands the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor with over 1,000 new quests. Players can explore entirely new destinations or dive into reimagined landscapes. Key additions include:

New Races and Character Customization
Character identity is central to the experience, with several new class and race combinations becoming available. Most notably, the Skyborne—also known as the shen’dorei—debut as a new playable race. Players choosing the Skyborne can align with the Horde as Windshapers (Shaman) or with the Alliance as High-Order Skyborne (Mage).

The game also introduces several other new combinations to expand player choice, including Orc Mages, Troll Warlocks, Undead Paladins, Human Hunters, Gnome Priests, and Dwarf Shamans.

Experience Presets and Rulesets
Upon first login, players must choose an Experience Preset that determines the visual and interface defaults. This choice is not permanent and can be adjusted later in the options menu.

Instead of traditional realm selection, players choose a Ruleset that defines their ecosystem and playstyle:

For those seeking the highest stakes, Blizzard has announced that a Hardcore ruleset—where death carries lasting consequences—will become available sometime after launch.
