Rock Paper Shotgun has published its weekly roundup of new PC games for the week of September 7, 2026. The list features a diverse mix of genres, including a retro-inspired first-person shooter, a tactical heist game from the creators of King of Dragon Pass, and a 100-player military shooter from the developers of Battalion.

The week kicks off on Monday, September 7, with two distinct titles. The Well is a survival horror experience where players must investigate a dried-up well while managing light sources and ignoring disturbing noises. Meanwhile, Port of Jumanah offers a 2D action roguelike experience, casting the player as a pearl diver who battles a shark in a pinstripe suit armed with a Tommy gun.

Tuesday, September 8, brings SPRAWL zero, a first-person shooter inspired by 2000s classics like Halo and F.E.A.R.. The game features bullet time mechanics and gravity-based powers. Also releasing on Tuesday is Thousand Hells: The Underworld Heists, a party-based tactical narrative game from the designers behind King of Dragon Pass and Six Ages. Additionally, Acceptable Losses is a World War 1 management game where players act as an officer deciding which procedurally generated soldiers to send on missions.

Wednesday, September 9, sees the release of In Falsus, described as an action-narrative hybrid. The game follows five high school girls involved in a secret government experiment, featuring gameplay elements reminiscent of Guitar Hero and WipEout, combined with card gaming mechanics.

Thursday, September 10, is packed with releases. Ex Sanguis enters early access as a grid-based tactics RPG from the makers of Othercide, focusing on physical interactions with enemy pieces and battlefield positioning. Wardogs also launches in early access, a 100-player military FPS from Bulkhead, the developers of Battalion, featuring destructible buildings. Shroom and Gloom is a fungal dungeon crawler that uses two separate card decks for navigation and combat, distinguished by its hand-drawn art style. Finally, The Alighieri Circle: Dante's Bloodline is a literary first-person horror game where players alternate between an Italian villa and demon dimensions to collect pages of the Divine Comedy and seal the gate to hell.

The week concludes on Friday, September 11, with The Loopler, a roguelite where players ornament a model car racecourse to generate points. This weekly roundup highlights the continued variety in PC gaming, ranging from tactical narratives to high-octane shooters and unique hybrid genres.
