Thermal Grizzly Unveils Noctua Collaboration for 12V-2x6 Monitoring

Thermal Grizzly has partnered with Noctua to release a special edition of its WireView Pro II GPU monitoring adapter. The WireView Pro II Noctua Edition Normal is designed to track power delivery parameters for 12V-2x6 connectors on modern graphics cards.

Technical Features and Design

The WireView Pro II adapter monitors each pin of the 12V-2x6 connector, displaying real-time data on a 320×170 pixel LCD screen. It tracks essential metrics, including current, voltage, temperature, and power consumption. The Noctua collaboration brings a custom-designed UI to the display, matching the iconic aesthetics of the cooling brand.

To manage heat, the adapter incorporates a Noctua NF-A4x10 PWM fan. This semi-passive cooling solution activates automatically as temperature or power consumption rises, ensuring the connector remains within safe limits. The unit is housed in a CNC-machined aluminum chassis featuring ventilation holes to act as an active heatsink.

Safety and Warranty

The device serves as a safeguard against damage to 12VHPWR and 12V-2x6 connectors. If parameters exceed predefined thresholds, the display issues a warning, an alarm sounds, and—when using the included splitter cable—the system can trigger an automatic shutdown.

Notably, Thermal Grizzly offers an extended warranty for this model. Valid for two years from the date of purchase, this coverage remains active even after the original graphics card's manufacturer warranty expires. If the internal protection mechanisms fail to prevent damage to the connector, the company provides repair or replacement services.

The WireView Pro II Noctua Edition Normal is priced at ¥38,800 and is available in both normal and reverse connector orientations.
