Gifts and Celebrations: Liberty Day 2026 arrives in Helldivers 2
Helldivers 2 is celebrating Liberty Day. Arrowhead Game Studios has announced festivities to mark the third anniversary of this in-universe event, offering players in-game gifts, ship decorations, and special community activities.
The highlight for active Helldivers is the AR-23L Liberator Legacy, a retro rifle modeled after weapons from the First Galactic War. This reward will be distributed to players who participate in the celebrations once the event concludes.
For a 24-hour period, Super Destroyer lobbies will feature holiday-themed adornments, including banners, rugs, and party supplies. Additionally, community minigames like Minidivers (emoji stratagem exchanges in chat) and Adopt-a-SEAF will be available exclusively for members of the official Discord server.
The celebration also extends to the Super Merch store. By completing specific in-game achievements—such as reaching Level 100 to earn the ‘Hell Commander’ title or finishing 75 missions—players can unlock the ability to purchase exclusive items like pins and plushies until February 28, 2027.
For new recruits, Helldivers 2 is currently available via the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra membership).
