Spirit win BLAST Open Porto 2026
Spirit have claimed the title at BLAST Open Porto, defeating MOUZ 3-1 in the grand final. This victory serves as a direct reversal of their previous meeting, where MOUZ won 3-1 in the final of BLAST Bounty Season 2 earlier this year.
The series began on Dust2, where sh1ro took control in the second half. He recorded a 2.01 rating and secured seven consecutive CT rounds, leading Spirit to a 13-8 victory. The sniper topped the scoreboard with 19 kills, setting the tone for the rest of the match.
On Mirage, Spirit initially held an 11-4 lead, but their T-side performance faltered. MOUZ managed to hold onto their map pick, with PR and xelex combining for 44 kills to force a deciding map. This was the only map MOUZ won in the series.
Ancient saw Spirit reclaim the dominance they displayed in their recent form. MOUZ struggled significantly, trailing 11-1 at the break. Despite winning a pistol round, they could not overcome donk, who finished the map with 23 kills and a 2.32 rating. Spirit closed out the map decisively.
The final map, Nuke, saw Spirit maintain their momentum with an 8-4 lead in the CT half. sh1ro, donk, and tN1R all performed at a high level, securing the 13-6 win and the tournament trophy. This marks Spirit’s second consecutive event victory, a streak they last achieved after winning IEM Cologne and BLAST Bounty Season 2 last year.
