IG and LGD Gaming advance to LPL 2026 Split 3 lower bracket semifinal
Invictus Gaming and LGD Gaming advanced to the lower bracket semifinal of LPL 2026 Split 3 after defeating Team WE and Ninjas in Pyjamas, respectively. The two teams will face each other on September 8 for a spot in the lower bracket final.
Invictus Gaming closed out their 3:1 victory over Team WE with a 20–6 win on the fourth map. The series began with an 18–7 opener for Invictus Gaming, followed by a 16–7 response from Team WE. Invictus Gaming regained the lead with a 22–18 win before securing the series. Song "Rookie" Eui-jin recorded the best average K/D/A for Invictus Gaming at 3.1/1.1/8.0.
LGD Gaming required all five maps to eliminate Ninjas in Pyjamas in a 3:2 result. LGD Gaming won the opener 24–12, but Ninjas in Pyjamas answered with a 23–16 victory. LGD Gaming took the third map 14–2, yet Ninjas in Pyjamas forced a decider with a 19–5 win. LGD Gaming secured the series on the fifth map with a 17–11 victory.
LPL 2026 Split 3 features a prize pool of approximately $590,000 and will determine China's representatives for Worlds 2026.
