What the Quarterfinals Established

The opening two series ended without a lost map. T1 stopped Crazy Raccoon and ZETA prevented Dallas Fuel from extending its match. The results matter beyond the scores: both Korean teams preserved energy before meeting each other and did not have to reveal every prepared answer.

Weibo Gaming and Twisted Minds each dropped one map in the other half of the bracket. Weibo advanced past Spacestation Gaming, while Twisted Minds defeated Geekay Esports. The winners represent different regional approaches and enter the semifinal after longer matches in which an opponent tested their adaptation.

T1 Versus ZETA DIVISION

The pairing needs no invented rivalry. Both teams meet regularly inside Korean OWCS competition and understand each other’s habits. The tournament context raises the value of the first choice. Following clean quarterfinals, the main question is not the opening composition but the speed of responses to hero bans and the previous loser’s map selection.

Both won 3–0, so quarterfinal map losses cannot separate them. The first two semifinal maps should offer better evidence: which side forces the first departure from a prepared plan, and how costly that adjustment becomes.

Weibo Gaming Versus Twisted Minds

Weibo Gaming reached the semifinal through Spacestation Gaming, while Twisted Minds advanced through Geekay. Identical 3–1 scores establish an advantage without hiding every weakness: both teams already lost a map and had to alter decisions inside a series.

Twisted Minds has substantial experience in long international playoffs, while Weibo carries a strong Chinese run into this bracket. Historical status does not replace current results. The match depends on the active map pool, bans, and which side can preserve its compositional idea after the first failed round.

How the Deciding Day Works

ZETA DIVISION versus T1 is scheduled for 10:00 UTC, followed by Twisted Minds versus Weibo Gaming at 11:45 UTC. The third-place match is listed for 13:45 UTC and the Grand Final for 15:30 UTC. Semifinals and third place are first to three map wins; the final is first to four.

Before every map, each team bans one hero, and the two bans must come from different roles. A team cannot repeat its own hero ban within the series, although it may choose a hero previously banned by the opponent. The higher seed bans first on the opening map; afterward, the previous map loser bans first.

What Is at Stake

The tournament prize pool is $1 million. The champion receives $400,000, the runner-up $180,000, third place $100,000, and fourth place $60,000; teams placed fifth through eighth receive $35,000 each. Every remaining team has secured at least fourth place.
