2K has officially revealed details of the new Preseason Breakdown mode for NBA 2K27. During the presentation, key changes affecting major game modes were shown: MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The City. Developers also announced significant updates to core gameplay mechanics and features.
The new Preseason Breakdown mode will allow players to gain an edge before the official season starts. Early Access testing begins on August 26, giving users a chance to try out new content several days before release.
For those who want to start the season earlier, special editions are available: NBA 2K27 Deluxe Edition and NBA 2K27 Ultra Edition. Purchasing these versions grants immediate access to early testing and allows players to set up their court presence ahead of time.
