MOUZ defeats Spirit to claim first trophy of 2026 at BLAST Bounty Summer
In the grand final in Malta, MOUZ defeated the heavy favourite Spirit 3:1. Lotan 'Spinx' Giladi was named MVP as the Israeli squad secured their first trophy of the year.
MOUZ concluded BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 with a victory over Spirit in the grand final. The match took place on August 2 in Attard, Malta, where the Israeli squad, considered underdogs, defeated the home-favourite Spirit 3:1. Despite Spirit's status as favourites, they could not maintain their advantage and lost the series.
The grand final began with Dust2, chosen by Spirit. However, MOUZ took control immediately: Lotan «Spinx» Giladi recorded 23 kills and helped his team win 13:8. On Mirage, the Israelis dominated again, crushing their opponents 13:4 with Spinx playing a key role.
The third map on Ancient proved more challenging for the winners. Spirit managed to fight back and won the map 13:9, allowing them to reach the deciding fourth game. Nevertheless, on the final map Nuke, MOUZ regained control and secured a 13:10 victory.
The best player of the match was Lotan «Spinx» Giladi, who recorded 78 kills with 38 deaths. His K/D ratio exceeded 2.0, and his ADR reached 90 — the highest among all finalists. For MOUZ, this victory marked their first trophy of the year following roster changes, a crucial step in rebuilding their reputation.
The winner's prize pool totaled $266,563 (including $40,000 participation), while Spirit received $97,188. FaZe Clan and Astralis shared third place.
