Details have emerged regarding the technical specifications of the new Intel Nova Lake-S processor, which is focused on overclocking. According to information confirmed by insider Jaykihn, the top-end model with 52 cores will operate in PL2 mode at up to 474 W.
New Architecture and Chip Configuration
The Nova Lake-S lineup will utilize a new modular architecture where compute blocks are combined into a single package. The 52-core model consists of two compute tiles connected to the SoC tile. Each individual block can contain up to 28 cores, and their combination allows for a maximum configuration of 52 cores.
It is important to note that both compute blocks have equal access to memory and the PCIe interface. This means that system performance will not depend on which specific block is handling tasks.
