HP Unveils GB300-powered ZGX Fury Workstations and RTX Spark Laptops
Alongside recent industry updates, HP has revealed the full details of its new AI-focused hardware lineup. This includes the high-end ZGX Fury workstations built around the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra platform, as well as the consumer-oriented RTX Spark Windows laptops designed to leverage local AI compute.
ZGX Fury: Enterprise AI Power in a 5U Form Factor
The ZGX Fury G1n AI Station is a liquid-cooled, 5U-rackable tower designed for on-premises AI development and inference. It is built on the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra platform, featuring a 72-core Arm Neoverse V2 Grace CPU paired with a Blackwell Ultra GPU containing 160 SMs.

The memory architecture is massive: 496GB of LPDDR5X system memory (396 GB/s) and 252GB of HBM3e GPU memory (7.1 TB/s bandwidth), providing a total of 748GB of coherent memory. Notably, the LPDDR5X is provided via four 128GB SOCAMM2 modules rather than being soldered directly to the board.
Storage is optimized for high-speed data handling, featuring four embedded M.2 slots. This includes two PCIe 5.0 drives in RAID 1 for the operating system and two additional drives in RAID 0 for high-speed data storage. Available capacities include 2TB and 4TB drives, with self-encrypting-drive (SED) options limited to 2TB per drive. For display output, the system offers three PCIe 5.0 slots (one x16 and two x8 electrical), allowing the addition of discrete NVIDIA GPUs like the RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell (16GB) or RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell (24GB) to offload video tasks from the main GB300 GPU.
Networking is built for massive throughput, featuring 10-Gigabit Ethernet, a dedicated 1GbE management connection, and two 400Gbps QSFP112 ports via an NVIDIA ConnectX-8 SuperNIC.
RTX Spark Laptops and Perplexity Integration
On the consumer side, HP is launching the OmniBook Ultra 16 and OmniBook X 14 laptops, powered by the NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X platform. Available for pre-order, these machines come in two configurations: an 18-core "Grace" CPU with a 40-SM Blackwell GPU, or a 20-core CPU with a 48-SM GPU.

- OmniBook Ultra 16: Starts at $3,199.99, features a 99Wh battery.
- OmniBook X 14: Starts at $2,999.99, features an 80Wh battery.
Both models feature 120Hz 2880x1800 OLED touchscreens with HDR and DCI-P3 coverage. Memory options range from 32GB to 128GB LPDDR5X-9400, and storage options include 1TB or 2TB PCIe 5.0 SSDs. High-end configurations for the 16-inch model can reach up to $6,229.99.
Additionally, HP is integrating Perplexity into its ecosystem. Eligible systems will receive a one-month Perplexity Pro trial starting in November, aimed at helping users utilize the local compute capabilities of the new RTX Spark systems for research and content creation.
