Hotfixes: World of Warcraft Update 12.1.5
Blizzard Entertainment has released a new batch of hotfixes for World of Warcraft as part of the 12.1.5 update. These changes impact a wide range of content, including Midnight, Mists of Pandaria Classic, Season of Discovery, Burning Crusade Classic, WoW Classic Era, and Hardcore.
A significant portion of the updates focuses on tuning dungeon and raid encounters. Adjustments were made to Mythic difficulty mechanics for Sszorak and The Coiled Altar, specifically regarding orb spawn rates and rage generation. Additionally, several bosses received health and damage reductions to improve combat flow, including Ravenous Descendant, Living Venom, and Twinfang Harrower.
In the Dungeons and Raids category, developers addressed a visual clarity issue for the Murder in a Row mechanic. Players will now see a visual indicator for the safe zone around barrels during the Zaen Bladesorrow encounter. Furthermore, a bug preventing groups larger than 20 players from completing the Watch Out Behind You achievement has been resolved.
Delves and The Labyrinth
Technical fixes were applied to Delves and The Labyrinth of Kindo'jan. Key improvements include fixing Valeera's Stagger mechanic when a healer is present, resolving boss spawning issues in the Returning the Bounty scenario, and fixing terrain clipping issues in The Speaker's Chamber and Nalorakk's Rest. Players who missed looting the Loa-Blessed Wayfarer mount or the Loa-Blessed Victory toy from the Ancestral Bounty chest can now obtain them by speaking with Kinduru.
Classes and Quests
Druid players will see fixes for both Guardian and Restoration specs, specifically addressing mana costs for Rebirth in Bear Form and issues with Heart of the Wild. Quest-related fixes include resolving Battle for Azeroth quest log clutter and ensuring NPCs for the De Legend of de Hash'ey quest in Zul'Aman are properly available.
