GIGABYTE teases black B850 AORUS ELITE-P motherboard with ARI anime design
GIGABYTE has teased a black edition of its B850 AORUS ELITE-P motherboard, part of the company's anime-themed AORUS ARI series. The new model features a dark PCB and heatsinks decorated with artwork of the ARI character, moving away from the white aesthetic of the previously introduced B850 AORUS ELITE-P ICE.
Design and Visual Features
The black version was previously showcased at Computex 2026, though only the white ICE model currently has a dedicated product page. This new iteration maintains the same character illustrations across the I/O cover and M.2 heatsinks. A standout feature is the integrated Edge View LCD display, which can show animated graphics of the ARI character (known as Diao Mei in China), including blinking animations.
Technical Specifications
While full specifications for the black model have not been officially confirmed, it is expected to share the same layout as the white version. Based on the B850 AORUS ELITE-P ICE, the expected features include:
- A 16+2+2-phase power design for the AMD AM5 socket;
- Overclocking support for DDR5 memory up to 8200 MHz;
- Four M.2 slots, including one PCIe 5.0 x4 slot;
- 5GbE Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
GIGABYTE has not yet announced the pricing or retail availability for the black edition. It also remains unconfirmed whether this model will include the collectible ARI blind-box accessories that are bundled with the white version.
