What Is Runes of Aldur

League 0.5 'Runes of Aldur' is Path of Exile 2's new league cycle. According to official GGG patch notes, it adds a new item mechanic — runes that augment equipment. This continues the league mechanic tradition from PoE1: each new cycle adds a temporary layer to core gameplay.

What Changed in Patch 0.5

Endgame and Atlas
