GALLERIA PCs with Ryzen Threadripper 9000 and RTX 5090 Launch in Japan
The Japanese retailer Dospara has expanded its GALLERIA lineup with two high-end desktop systems featuring the new AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9000 series. These workstations are designed for heavy-duty workloads such as 3D rendering, video production, and scientific research, pairing the latest Zen 5 architecture with NVIDIA's top-tier graphics.
High-End Configurations and Pricing
Dospara is offering two distinct models based on the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9980X processor. The first is the GALLERIA SUTRE-R59-GN, positioned as a creative workstation, priced at ¥4,689,980. The second is the GALLERIA SMTRE-R59-GL, a gaming-oriented model with enhanced cooling, priced at ¥4,659,980.
Both systems are built to handle sustained, high-load tasks by focusing on thermal management. The creative-focused model features optimized fan configurations to ensure efficient heat dissipation from both the CPU and GPU during long rendering sessions or complex computational analysis.
Core Specifications
Despite their different target audiences, both desktop models share a massive set of high-performance components:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9980X (Zen 5 architecture)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 (32GB VRAM)
- RAM: 128GB DDR5
- Storage: 2TB Gen5 NVMe SSD
The physical footprint of these machines is substantial, measuring 235 mm in width, 628 mm in depth, and 593 mm in height, with a total weight of approximately 28 kg. This heavy-duty hardware is intended for professional environments where raw multi-core performance and massive VRAM capacity are critical for productivity.
