Crimson Desert's First Sale Begins with 20% Discount
Crimson Desert has officially launched its first-ever sale on Steam, offering a 20% discount to players eager to begin their journey in the open-world action-adventure RPG.
The sale runs from Tuesday, August 25th through Wednesday, September 9th, 2026. During this period, the game is available for $55.99 USD, down from its standard price of $69.99. This promotion marks the initial discount event for the title since its release in March 2026.
Developed by Pearl Abyss, Crimson Desert invites players to explore the vast continent of Pywel alongside protagonist Kliff. The narrative focuses on rebuilding the Greymane faction and defending the land against a looming existential threat. Players can traverse diverse environments ranging from sprawling wilderness and bustling cities to ancient ruins and the mysterious Abyss.
Beyond the sale, recent updates have continued to refine the experience. Version 1.18.02 was deployed on August 17th to address various fixes and improvements across all platforms, followed by a minor hotfix in version 1.18.01 on August 16th.
Recognition for the title is also growing; Crimson Desert has been nominated for Best PC Game and Most Epic at the 2026 gamescom Awards, announced just days before the sale began.
