Celestial and Driftzz mutually part ways
Celestial and George "Driftzz" Karkour have mutually parted ways, with the American rifler now actively seeking a new roster for ESEA Advanced.
On September 1st, Driftzz announced his departure from the team, describing the split as a mutual decision. He joined Celestial in early May alongside other members of the Memories core, including Lucas "fatguy" Muncy and Matthew "Tiski" Matusovski.
During his tenure, the squad participated in several local LANs and online events. Their most notable results include reaching the quarterfinals of FRAG St. Clair and winning the EMPIRE LAN in NYC. The team also competed in multiple seasons of CROSSFIRE and ESEA Advanced, recently qualifying for the Advanced S58 playoffs with an 8-6 record.
In his departure post, Driftzz stated that he is open to any roles while looking for a new team to join in Advanced. Celestial has not yet announced a replacement, though the lineup has utilized Ryan "ryn" Crossland as a substitute in recent ESEA matches.
The current Celestial roster now consists of:
