BALL x PIT’s Final Free Update The Naturalist Arrives August 6

Two New Characters

The Ballbearer doubles the number of ball slots but gives up passive items entirely. The Hoary Hoarder takes the opposite route: only two ball slots, offset by twice as many passive-item slots.

New Balls and Passives

The update adds 11 balls and five passive items. Revealed balls include Lightning Bug, Mosquito Kingdom, Drill, Flesh, and Armageddon; revealed passives include Platinum Dumbbell, Inglorious Hammer, and Remote Detonator.

Lightning Bug creates a firefly on every bounce, while Mosquito Kingdom spawns one or two mosquitoes when it hits an enemy. Armageddon marks a target and calls a meteor shower across a three-tile radius.

Remote Detonator creates a level-one Bomb Ball whenever an enemy dies. The developers are keeping part of the update undisclosed until release.

What Is Not Confirmed Yet

The official post provides a date and content details for the PS5 edition. It does not give timing for other platforms, so August 6 should not be assigned to unconfirmed editions.
