Apex Legends Night City Legends Event Guide
The Apex Legends Night City Legends Event is a limited-time crossover that transports the Wildcard mode into the Neon-soaked streets of Night City. This event is exclusively available in Wildcard and does not affect Ranked matches. The gameplay content runs from July 14 to August 4, 2026. However, the Cyberpunk Collection store remains accessible until August 18, 2026.
The core of this experience revolves around two Cyberware mods: Sandevistan and Blackwall Breach. Using these mods grants powerful mobility or disruption abilities but increases the risk of entering a state known as Cyberpsychosis. This guide explains how to utilize these mechanics safely and where to find rewards.
Cyberware Mechanics and Cyberpsychosis
In Night City Legends, players can activate two types of mods. The first, Sandevistan, provides aggressive mobility. It allows for quick directional dashes in any direction and restores shields while moving. A player can chain up to two dashes before landing, making it excellent for repositioning or escaping.
The second mod, Blackwall Breach, focuses on stealth and disruption. It lets you phase into the Net for safer repositioning and applies an EMP effect upon emerging, disrupting enemy shields.
There is a price for this power: every time you use a Cyberware mod, your Cyberware Capacity meter fills up. If the meter reaches its limit, you enter Cyberpsychosis. In this state, weapons, abilities, shields, and grenades are disabled, leaving you with melee combat only. This does not add speed or damage; it simply changes your playstyle to melee-only combat.
Resetting Cyberware Capacity
To avoid entering Cyberpsychosis, you must manage your capacity. The map contains Immunoblocker Syringes and Immunoblocker Caches. Using these items completely resets your Cyberware meter, allowing you to safely use the mods again.
Rewards and Collection Store
The event offers two paths for cosmetics. The first is the Reward Shop, where you spend earned Eddies on rewards like the Valkyrie (Arasaka Flight Protocol) and Mirage (Kang-Tao Specter) skins. This shop closes when the Wildcard mode ends, on August 4, 2026.
The second path is the separate Cyberpunk Collection. It includes eight new Legend skins: Axle, Sparrow, Lifeline, Crypto, Rampart, Loba, Ash, and Gibraltar. It also features eight weapon skins: Wingman, Charge Rifle, Mastiff, L-STAR, P2020, RE-45, R-301, and Kraber. This collection store remains open until August 18, 2026.
Skippy Alternator: Mythic Weapon
The centerpiece of the collection is the Skippy Alternator, a Mythic weapon skin. It offers two selectable modes: Puppy Loving Pacifist and Stone Cold Killer. You can upgrade Skippy with Exotic Shards to unlock additional visuals and ordnance skins. Note that the cosmetic provides no gameplay advantage.
