AION 2 Leveling Guide
Leveling in AION 2 is easier when you follow a clear route. The story unlocks systems, while side content fills specific gaps in experience and power.
Make the main story your route
Level 45 is the launch-build target. The main story provides the fastest and safest path because it unlocks regions, dungeons and progression systems. Yellow story quests should usually take priority over random map completion.
Pay attention to reward conversations and tutorials. Many features unlock only after a particular story step, so grinding experience without advancing the campaign can leave your character under-equipped in other ways.
Side activities worth doing
When the story asks for more levels
- Check the journal for unfinished regional quests in your current zone.
- Clear available solo dungeons and trials.
- Collect nearby permanent world upgrades.
- Review your equipment and core rotation; combat power may be the real barrier.
After reaching level 45
At the cap, experience gives way to combat power and specialization. Unlock group content, assemble a reliable set, configure stigmas and begin working on long-term progression systems.
Do not chase every activity on the first evening. Pick one source of upgrades, use its available entries or limits, and then move to the next. This keeps progress readable and prevents currency from disappearing into random improvements.
