SCS Software showcases Scania Touring gameplay for upcoming Coaches DLC
SCS Software has released a gameplay preview for the upcoming "Coaches" DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2. The footage features the Scania Touring traveling through the landscapes of northern Norway, specifically on a route from Narvik to Andenes.
The Coaches DLC introduces a shift in gameplay as players transition from hauling cargo to transporting passengers. This change introduces a new layer of responsibility: driving style directly impacts passenger satisfaction. A new G-force indicator will help players track sharp turns and heavy braking. Exceeding comfort limits will result in audible reactions from passengers, which will ultimately affect the final trip results.
Key features highlighted in the preview include:
- Adjustable sun visor: allows drivers to control sunlight entering the cabin for a better driving experience.
- Immersive audio: passengers will talk and make noise throughout the journey to bring the coach experience to life.
While the official release date for the Coaches DLC has yet to be announced, it is currently available to wishlist on Steam.
