Rev. NOiR launches in 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC
RPG Rev. NOiR will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in 2027, publisher Konami and developer ILCA announced.
The announcement follows a presentation at State of Play on September 3, 2026, where the team shared a new set of trailers and screenshots. The game is described as an all-new RPG where players defy cruel fate alongside a cast of characters drawn together by chance.

In the story, a boy named Asch encounters Finé and her guard, Diana, in a remote village. Guided by an astral ordinance to “save many people,” Asch embarks with Finé on a quest to defeat mysterious provitons—believed to be the sources of the Lightfall—and bring an end to the calamity. Together, they set off to save the world, unaware of the fate that awaits them.

The playable roster includes Asch, voiced by Takeo Otsuka in Japanese, a quiet boy who gradually discovers his purpose through his journey and bonds with his companions. Finé, voiced by Kana Ichinose in Japanese, is a young cleric and wielder of the Rainbow Astria, a power said to bring cessation to the Lightfall. Cheerful and adventurous, she dreams of exploring the vast world beyond the lands she knows.

Diana is an Astrian Order soldier of the Holy Capital Garrison who deeply respects Finé for her diligence in taking on the role of “Saint.” Having a strong sense of justice, she never hesitates to risk her own safety for others. Kross, a gunner of the Lysrian City Guards, joins the journey after being assigned by his captain to act as a guide. Soft-hearted and deeply compassionate, he can never turn his back on someone in trouble.

The official website provides further details on the game’s lore, including the Determinant in the heavens that has guided humanity through astral ordinances intended to preserve peace. Yet once again, the world stands on the brink of catastrophe, threatened by the deadly phenomenon known as Lightfall. The game’s tagline reads: “Beyond Justice, Annihilation Awaits… A quest that will challenge humanity’s very fate.”
