Bodycam Adds Interactive Lobby Jukebox
Bodycam has added a new interactive jukebox to its lobby, featuring a fresh soundtrack curated by Aurorian Records. The update follows the game's recent major patch and aims to let players discover and support the artists behind the music.
The developers noted that players enjoyed the music featured during Early Access, so they decided to bring a similar experience directly into the main menu. The new jukebox allows users to check the name of the current track, skip to the next song, and view the names of the artists behind each piece. This feature is designed to give players a direct way to support the musicians who shared their work with the team.
The official playlist includes a variety of tracks from different artists. Notable songs in the rotation include Destruction by Slowboy, Dabow, and Lenny; faketrust by TWISTED, kellapsage, and glossier; and STORMSEEKER by nuphory, llwll, and AlienBlaze. The list also features scared by Bad Computer, which is described as an exclusive Bodycam track that has not yet been released elsewhere. Other tracks in the playlist include FADING by THIRST, CODE RED by NECROLX, YOUK3IV, and ATRXX, and CAME2DANCE by Lister.
Additional songs available in the jukebox include nevoa by dashie and ISXRO, geisha by 9T4, and ECLIPSE by YKSIN. The playlist also features slower versions of several tracks, such as only you by vinter, anaesthesia by NØCTRIS, and Montagem Explosão by Trxpical. Other entries include Outta Time by Slowboy, Bebi, and Braveboy, and TRIADTEKK by V1AL. All music in the update is provided by Aurorian Records.
This soundtrack update was released alongside patch notes for version 0.8, which addressed minor issues following the launch of the game's major update. The major update itself introduced a new Trench map, a Loadout System, reworked animations, and updated sound design. The current price of Bodycam on Steam is $26.65, reflecting a 20% discount from the original $33.32.
