Modern Warfare 4 Season 1: Maps, Modes, and Content Details

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 is set to go live on November 6. The update promises a significant expansion across all modes, including new maps for Multiplayer, a new location for DMZ, and two new maps for Warzone.

The Multiplayer experience will expand with three new maps at launch: the weather-beaten Backstab, the rocky terrain of Canyon, and a snowy reimagining of Shoot House set in North Korea. Additionally, fan-favorite modes Grind and Drop Zone are returning to the rotation.

Mid-season updates will introduce even more content, including the Ministry map, the factory-focused Overflow, and a new mode called Counter Attack, which focuses on detonating enemy Comm Stations while defending your own.

For DMZ players, the update introduces the X01 weapons facility. This new location features a maze of tunnels, shifting hazards, and new boss threats via Threat Briefing. Players can also expect new DMZ Orders and Resupply Runs within the facility.

Warzone will also see significant changes with the introduction of two new maps, Hajin and Zodiac. A full roadmap for Warzone content is expected to follow soon.

The Season 1 Battle Pass will feature the Cronen Osprey Assault Rifle and the "CSG-35" SMG. To improve player progression, a new catch-up system has been implemented: premium Battle Pass owners will automatically unlock rewards matching their current progress up to day 50, ensuring they can quickly catch up if they miss the early part of the season.
