Jojopyun Extends Contract with Movistar KOI Until 2027
Movistar KOI has officially confirmed a contract extension for mid laner Joseph "Jojopyun" Pyun. The player is now signed with the organization through 2027, ensuring his presence in the League of Legends roster for the upcoming seasons.
Jojopyun's previous agreement was set to expire at the end of 2026. As early as November 2025, reports indicated that Movistar KOI was negotiating extensions with several core members, including Jojopyun, Javier "Elyoya" Prades, and Alvaro "Alvaro" Fernandez del Amo, with the goal of retaining the roster through at least 2027. The organization has now confirmed the extension.
Jojopyun has been a part of Movistar KOI since late 2024. During the 2026 season, he competed in the starting lineup alongside Myrwn, Elyoya, Supa, and Alvaro. The team's recent performance included reaching the grand final of LEC 2026 Summer, where they finished in second place after a 0:3 series loss to G2 Esports. This run also secured the team a spot at Worlds 2026. Jojopyun's extension marks the first official roster move by the club regarding their 2027 campaign.
