Culdcept BEGINS for PC launches October 28
The PC version of the board and card game fusion Culdcept BEGINS from Neos is set to launch on Steam on October 28.
The title first arrived on Switch and Switch 2 on July 16. Since then, combined shipments and digital sales have surpassed 100,000 units.
The story takes place on the continent of Bavrashka, where Cepters are trained at the Royal Cept Academy to wield the power of stone tablets known as “Culds.” The protagonist, Kamur, is selected for the Royal Cepter Guard Regiment, where his abilities begin to awaken amidst battles threatening the continent.
Gameplay in Culdcept BEGINS relies on a mix of dice-based movement and strategic card play. Players navigate the board to claim territories using over 400 cards featuring all-new visuals. The card system is divided into three main types:
- Creature Cards — summons across five elements used to gain or take over domains;
- Item Cards — tools that support creatures in battle or provide tactical advantages;
- Spell Cards — magic used to build momentum or turn the tide of a match.
Described as a more accessible evolution of the series, the game aims to maintain the core charm of the original Culdcept franchise while introducing updated mechanics.
