CAG by VARREL and Fnatic Advance to Esports World Cup 2026 Group Stage
The second day of the Play-In at the Esports World Cup 2026 has concluded. CAG by VARREL and Fnatic won the lower bracket finals of their groups and advanced to the group stage, which will begin on August 6.
In the decisive matches, CAG by VARREL defeated Shopify Rebellion, while Fnatic triumphed over Al-Ula Club. The tournament features 22 teams competing for a prize pool of $2 million in Paris.

Fnatic vs Al-Ula Club

Group Stage Schedule
The group stage will kick off on August 6 in Paris, France. The tournament features 22 teams competing for a prize pool of $2 million. In the opening matches, DarkZero will face Team Secret, and FaZe Clan will compete against Fnatic.
The group stage will occur from August 6 to 9, and the playoffs will run from August 12 to 15. The champion will receive $750,000 and a direct invitation to the Six Invitational 2027.
