BlizzCon 2026 opens its doors at the Anaheim Convention Center, bringing together in-person attendees and remote viewers for a two-day showcase of World of Warcraft, esports finals, and exclusive rewards. Blizzard Entertainment has published the full programming schedule, livestream details, and information on how to claim in-game items and merchandise tied to the event.

The convention kicks off on Day One with the Opening Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. PDT (18:30 BST). Following the ceremony, the schedule features a dedicated World of Warcraft: What's Next panel at 12:00 p.m. PDT, followed by the MDI 2026 Grand Finals matches between Dignitas and Big Lucky, and later Liquid versus Mandatory. The day continues with technical and creative panels, including Building Cutscenes in World of Warcraft and a second What's Next session. The evening concludes with the MDI 2026 Championship Match and Classic Cup: Warcraft III legacy and entertainment matches.

Day Two focuses heavily on World of Warcraft development and the Arena World Championship (AWC). The day begins with a Deep Dive panel and sessions on crafting and world building. The AWC Grand Finals take center stage, featuring matches such as F Tier versus Guild Bean and Streamerzonegg against One Lun Travel. The AWC 2026 Championship Match is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. PDT, followed by closing remarks and a live performance by Le Sserafim. The event wraps up with the Trophy Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. PDT.

Viewers at home can watch select programming live through official channels. Blizzard has released a Viewership Guide detailing how to tune in to the Opening Ceremony, major panels, and esports competitions. It is important to note that musical performances and certain other elements are exclusive to in-person attendees at the Anaheim Convention Center and will not be livestreamed. The full schedule is available on BlizzCon.com, with updates expected after the Opening Ceremony.

For World of Warcraft players, the event offers opportunities to earn in-game rewards. By tuning in to eligible streams on Twitch or the official World of Warcraft YouTube channel, players can claim items during the show. Those attending in person must link their BlizzCon Pass to their Battle.net account by September 18, 2026, to ensure eligibility for all available rewards. Specific rewards and eligibility criteria vary by game, stream, and platform.

The esports component of BlizzCon 2026 features the Grand Finals for both the Arena World Championship and the Mythic Dungeon Invitational. Top talent from around the world will compete for the BlizzCon trophy and a share of the $600,000 combined prize pool. These finals are scheduled for September 12 and 13, with matches broadcast on the official World of Warcraft Twitch and YouTube channels for those watching remotely.

Attendees can find practical information, including floor plans, badge pickup details, and accessibility options, in the Know Before You Go article on the official BlizzCon website. For those looking to commemorate the event, the World of Warcraft BlizzCon Bundle is available on the Battle.net Shop. This digital bundle includes the Rabbit’ath Void mount, the Garb of the Dawnfire Phoenix transmog set, and the Perch of the Dawnfire Phoenix home decoration. Individual digital bundles are available for purchase through September 28, 2026.
