Raids and Dungeons in World of Warcraft: Forever

The World of Warcraft: Forever update is set to bring a massive influx of content to Azeroth. Blizzard has announced three new raids and nine dungeons, catering to players from level 13 all the way up to the level 60 cap.

Starting December 9, level 60 players can tackle three distinct raids: the 10-player The Barrow Deeps located within Mount Hyjal, the 20-player Hyjal Summit also on Mount Hyjal, and the massive 40-player Onyxia’s Lair in Dustwallow Marsh. Notably, entry to Onyxia’s Lair requires the Drakefire Amulet, an item obtained through a faction-specific attunement questline involving several high-level dungeons and elite quests.

New Dungeons and Level Ranges

In addition to the raids, nine new five-player dungeons will be introduced across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor:

  • Hall of Thanes (levels 13–18) — beneath Ironforge in Dun Morogh;
  • Ruins of Lordaeron (levels 15–20) — above the Undercity in Tirisfal Glades;
  • Excavation Site (levels 24–29) — in the Wetlands;
  • City of Dalaran (levels 28–33) — in the Alterac Mountains;
  • The Drowned City (levels 35–40) — off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale;
  • Krol’dok Stronghold (levels 40–45) — in Riverglades;
  • Alcaz Prison (levels 48–53) — on Alcaz Island in Dustwallow Marsh;
  • Blackmaw Hold (levels 55–60) — in Azshara;
  • Shaper’s Terrace (levels 58–60) — in Un’Goro Crater.

Players wishing to enter the City of Dalaran must first complete specific attunement quests starting in either Stormwind or Tarren Mill. All raids are expected to follow a weekly reset schedule, allowing players to establish consistent raiding routines.
