Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember launches March 4, 2027
Koei Tecmo has announced the release date for the Wo Long sequel and launched a limited-time alpha demo.
Koei Tecmo Games has officially announced that Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is scheduled to launch on March 4, 2027. Alongside the release window, an alpha demo is available starting today.
The alpha demo will be live until September 30. It features a portion of the Changban stage, allowing players to experience the Three Kingdoms battlefield, engage in combat with legendary figures, and test the game's signature offense-and-defense mechanics, including the Deflect system. Character creation and multiplayer co-op are also playable in this demo version.
Set in a dark fantasy reimagining of the Three Kingdoms era, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember explores expansive, open battlefields like Changban and Red Cliffs. These maps are filled with enemy strongholds and demonic lairs, offering various tactical approaches such as flanking, setting traps, or even recruiting enemy generals. New gameplay elements include Insight Skills, which enhance the protagonist's ability to counter and manipulate enemies during combat.
Players who complete the alpha demo by defeating the boss Wuzhiqi will unlock the Fledgling Phoenix Helmet for use in the full game.
Pre-orders are now live. The standard digital pre-order includes the Creator Goddess Garb set, while the Digital Deluxe Edition features a Season Pass, a digital mini soundtrack, and a digital mini art book.
