Weibo Gaming and Sharper Esports secure spots at BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026
Sharper Esports and Weibo Gaming have secured their places at BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026 following the conclusion of the Asia Pacific League 2026 — Asia — Stage 2. Regardless of the final match outcome, both participants earned invitations to the upcoming Major.
The grand final, held on October 23, saw Sharper Esports claim a 2:1 victory over Weibo Gaming. The series went to three maps: Kafe (7-5 for Sharper), Bank (7-4 for Weibo), and Clubhouse (8-7 for Sharper). This victory made Sharper Esports the second finalist of the tournament, after previously defeating Elevate.
The teams were competing for a $54,000 prize pool and SI points. Sharper Esports took home the first-place prize of $15,000 and 420 points, while Weibo Gaming finished in second place, earning $11,000 and 300 points. BGMan from Sharper Esports stood out in the final with a +11 K/D rating.
