Vitality delivered a dominant performance against 1win Team, winning 2-0 (13:1 on Dust2 and 13:5 on Cache). Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was the standout performer, posting an impressive 8.7 rating and 37 kills.
Natus Vincere defied predictions by defeating G2 with a 2-0 scoreline (13:7 on Cache and 13:4 on Inferno). Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov led the way for NAVI, ensuring a strong start to the tournament.

Other key results from the opening round:
- Team Falcons secured a 2-0 win over TYLOO, led by Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, who finished the series with a 7.2 rating.
- Team Spirit overcame a 1-0 deficit against ShindeN to win 2-1 (11:13, 13:11, 13-4), with Danil "donk" Kryshkovets recording 62 kills.
- PARIVISION fought back against Legacy to win 2-1, responding to a Dust2 loss with dominant wins on Inferno and Ancient. Captain Dzhami "Jame" Ali was the top performer with a 7.2 rating.
- MOUZ and Aurora both secured 1-0 victories against M80 and 9z, respectively.

The ESL Pro League S24 continues in Poland until October 11. The tournament features a $1 million prize pool, with $295,000 awarded to the winner ($170,000 to the organization and $120,000 to the players). Day 2 action features high-profile matchups including FURIA vs MOUZ and Vitality vs NAVI.
