Vitality defeat FURIA 2-1 in BLAST Open Porto quarter-finals
Team Vitality advanced to the semi-finals of BLAST Open Porto after defeating FURIA 2-1 in the quarter-finals. Despite losing the opening map on Nuke, the French squad recovered with decisive victories on Cache and Dust2.
The series began on Nuke, where FURIA established an early 8-0 lead on the CT side. The Brazilian team played with high confidence, limiting Team Vitality to just two rounds in the first half. Cache presented a different dynamic. Although FURIA started with a three-round streak, Team Vitality responded with a seven-round sequence on the T side to take an 8-4 lead at the break. Dust2 was the deciding factor. Team Vitality controlled the opening rounds and extended their round-winning streak to ten, closing the match with a 13-4 victory. This result places Team Vitality in the semi-finals, where they will face MOUZ.
