MOUZ book second straight BLAST final with 2-0 win over Vitality

MOUZ advanced to the grand final of BLAST Open Fall 2026 after defeating Vitality 2-0 in the semifinal at BLAST Open Porto. The victory secures MOUZ a rematch against Spirit for the championship title, marking their second consecutive BLAST final appearance.

The series began on Dust2, where MOUZ established an early 4-0 lead. Although Vitality responded with four consecutive rounds, MOUZ regained control to take an 8-4 lead into their T side. xelex was particularly impactful on this map, recording 119 ADR. Vitality surged back in the second half, reaching a 10-8 lead, but MOUZ closed out the map 13-11 after winning five of the final six rounds, with xelex finishing with 23 kills.

On Mirage, Vitality started strongly with a four-round streak on the CT side, including a successful retake and a force-buy. However, MOUZ found their rhythm, taking a 7-5 lead at the break as Spinx and torzsi combined for 22 kills. Vitality struggled on their T side, winning only two rounds, allowing MOUZ to close the map and the series 13-7.

Lotan "Spinx" Giladi was named the match MVP with 40 kills, 28 deaths, and a 97 ADR. Vitality, playing with jL as a stand-in for mezii, finished in 3rd–4th place. MOUZ will face Spirit in the best-of-five grand final on September 6 at 16:00 CEST. The tournament features a total prize pool of $1,100,000, with the group stage held in Copenhagen and the playoffs in Porto.
