Virtus.pro Defeat Fnatic, Falcons Triumph Over G2 in Europe MENA League 2026
Virtus.pro and Falcons secured their second consecutive victories on September 8 at the Europe MENA League 2026, while G2 Esports, Twisted Minds, Shifters, and Team Secret also claimed wins in their respective matches.
The group stage of the Europe MENA League 2026 concluded its second day with five decisive matches, all ending in a 1:0 scoreline. Virtus.pro defeated Fnatic, and Falcons triumphed over G2 Esports. Additionally, Twisted Minds beat Rebels Gaming, Shifters overcame Geekay Esports, and Team Secret secured a win against Heretics.
After two days of competition, four teams have achieved two wins without any losses. Virtus.pro leads the group standings with a round difference of +11 and six points. Twisted Minds follows in second place with a +6 round difference, while Shifters hold third position with +4. Falcons occupy fourth place with a zero round difference.
The remaining teams are split between one win and one loss, as well as two consecutive defeats. Geekay Esports and Team Secret each have three points from their mixed results. At the bottom of the table, Rebels Gaming, Heretics, G2 Esports, and Fnatic have lost both matches played so far.
G2 Esports currently has a round difference of -6, while Fnatic stands at -7. The losers from the previous day's matches will face elimination in the lower bracket semifinals on September 9. Meanwhile, Astralis and MIBR continue their campaign in the upper bracket of Group A.
The upcoming fixtures for September 9 include MIBR versus 9z and Astralis against BetBoom in the upper bracket. In the lower bracket, G2 Esports will play against BIG, and The MongolZ will face 5star. A loss in these matches will result in immediate elimination from the tournament.
