Villainous swap Panic for bright
Villainous have officially reshuffled their starting five for the ESL Challenger League Season 52 Cup, swapping Benjamin "Panic" Keeping for Matthew "bright" Ulatowski.
The roster change was confirmed late last night, marking the first adjustment to Villainous/mouse's lineup since March. Dylan "DYLAN" Frivalt, the team's IGL, explained that while Panic was a great teammate, he never found the comfort and stability required in the specific roles needed for their strategy. A mutual agreement led to parting ways.
Frivalt stated that the primary goal in signing bright is to acquire an "inexperienced but extremely talented player" who can be molded to fill the team's needs. The 18-map veteran joins after a brief stint with F5, where he was forced to leave following the departure of core member Matthew "bright" Ulatowski.
Despite the high hopes for bright's raw talent, Villainous faced an immediate test in their debut match against Overtake Sector. The new lineup suffered a 2-1 loss in the opening game of ESL Challenger League Season 52 Cup 1. The team will now look to bounce back when they face DETONATE at 09:00 PM.
The current confirmed roster for Villainous is as follows:
- Dylan "DYLAN" Frivalt
- Kyle "Sunk" Kallahan
- Jasper "Burglar" Martin
- Connor "Jolts" Haines
- Matthew "bright" Ulatowski
