VCT Americas 2026: G2 Esports keep dominating with a third straight win
G2 Esports extended their perfect VCT Americas 2026 regular season record to 3–0 with a clinical 2–0 victory over LOUD. The performance was defined by early-round control and jawgemo's exceptional individual output across both maps.
Match results
- Map 1 — Ascent: G2 13:6
- Map 2 — Lotus: G2 13:9
Standout performance: jawgemo
jawgemo (G2) finished the series with an ACS of 312 — the highest rating among any player in the current match week. On Ascent, he recorded 8 first kills in 19 rounds, effectively shutting down LOUD's A site execution and forcing them into reactive plays on an unfamiliar map half.
VCT Americas standings (top 5)
- G2 Esports — 3W 0L
- NRG Esports — 2W 1L
- Cloud9 — 2W 1L
- LOUD — 2W 1L
- 100 Thieves — 1W 2L
What's next for G2
G2's next match is against Sentinels on May 16. Sentinels sit at 1W–2L and are fighting to stay in playoff contention. Despite the record, TenZ has historically raised his individual ceiling against high-profile opponents — the match should not be a walkover. G2 need to remain focused on process rather than momentum.
