Valve fixes grenade clipping bug in CS2 and refines Cache map
Valve has released a new patch for Counter-Strike 2 that addresses a critical grenade clipping bug and continues to refine the Cache map. The developers have fixed instances where explosives could pass through level geometry, while also closing various gaps and improving collision detection on the map.

The primary focus of this patch is the grenade mechanics. Prior to the update, players could throw an HE grenade through a vent on Nuke to blow open double doors, breaking game balance. The physics engine now functions correctly: projectiles no longer clip through walls.

The Cache map received additional fixes following its return to the main content pool. Developers have closed various gaps on the map, improved collision in several positions, and eliminated flickering of certain objects. Additionally, the boost position in the Outside A area has been removed.

A significant portion of the update is dedicated to expanding map scripting capabilities. Valve has added new functions for handling weapon pickups, drops, and spawning, as well as tracking bomb and grenade explosions. New methods have been introduced to gather information about planters, defusers, planting times, and bomb detonations. A bug where the `Instance.RegisterCheatCommand` failed after script reloads has also been fixed.

The Shelter map has been updated to the latest version from the Steam Workshop. The update did not introduce changes to weapon balance or core gameplay rules but significantly expands the toolkit for developers of custom maps and game modes, simplifying the creation of complex scenarios.
