VALORANT: Act 5 Begins, Abyss Returns to Rotation in Patch 13.04
Riot Games has released patch 13.04 for VALORANT, launching V26 Act 5 with leaderboard updates, the return of Abyss to rotation, and Premier format changes.

Riot Games has released patch 13.04 for VALORANT, marking the start of V26 Act 5. The developers have updated the leaderboard for Immortal and Radiant players, returned Abyss to the competitive rotation in place of Breeze, changed the Premier format, and fixed agent and melee weapon bugs. The full list of changes is published on the official VALORANT website.
Patch Rollout Schedule by Region
The update rollout will occur in phases. Maintenance will begin at the following times:
- North America, Latin America, and Brazil: August 18 at 04:30 PDT, 07:30 EDT, or 08:30 BRT;
- Asia-Pacific, Korea, Japan, and Oceania: August 18 at 12:30 PDT, which corresponds to August 19 at 04:30 KST/JST and 05:30 AEST;
- Europe: August 18 at 18:30 PDT, which corresponds to August 19 at 02:30 BST or 03:30 CEST.
During maintenance, players will not be able to log into VALORANT or start matchmaking. Riot Games has provided the start time for maintenance but has not specified when it will be completed. The patch and new act will be available in each region once the servers are restored.
