Ninjas in Pyjamas Officially Exit Rainbow Six Siege Scene
Ninjas in Pyjamas have officially ceased their participation in the professional Rainbow Six Siege scene. On August 14, the organization moved its entire main roster, including players pino, Fntzy, Hatez, Wizard, and Bassetto, as well as manager BOB, analyst freezao, and coach dAn, to inactive status. Thus, the organization has effectively wound down its current lineup in the discipline.
Meanwhile, the roster itself retains its license. The players will continue to seek a new organization under whose banner they can compete in the future.
The End of a Great Era for NIP
Ninjas in Pyjamas have one of the most successful histories in Rainbow Six Siege. The team's main achievement remains their victory at the Six Invitational 2021. In the final, NIP defeated Team Liquid 3:2 and won $1 million in prize money. After this, the team also rose to the top of the world rankings.
NIP reached the Six Invitational finals twice. In 2020, the team lost to Spacestation Gaming in the decisive match with a score of 2:3. The organization also took second place at the Six Major Sweden 2021.
Among other notable results for NIP are 5th-6th place at Gamers8 2023, 5th-8th at the Esports World Cup 2025, and 7th-8th at the BLAST R6 Major Munich 2025.
