Two Venues Announced for VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai
Riot Games has officially confirmed the two venues that will host VALORANT Champions 2026 in China. The tournament is scheduled to run from September 24 to October 18 and will feature group-stage and playoff matches.
The majority of the VALORANT World Championship will take place at the Jing'an Sports Centre, which will host the group stage and a significant portion of the playoffs. The tournament's decisive matches, including the final weekend, will move to the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Pudong.
The venue is already familiar to VALORANT fans, having hosted the final matches of Masters Shanghai 2024. Champions 2026 will bring the world's best teams to China following a successful season, featuring the top squads from VCT Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China international leagues.
The event will feature a massive prize pool of $2,250,000. VALORANT Champions is Riot Games' premier season-ending tournament where the world champion is crowned, and 2026 marks the first time the event will be held in Shanghai.
