TSW: Second Team from Taiwan to Reach Worlds
TSW, previously known as 시크릿, clinched their spot at Worlds by defeating CFO Flying Oyster 3-0 in the LCP Split 3 Swiss Stage. The victory secured first place for the team, making them the second squad from Taiwan to qualify for the League of Legends World Championship following Hanwha Life Esports.
The decisive match took place on August 2 at the LCP Arena in Taipei. The win over CFO Flying Oyster marked a third consecutive victory for TSW in the current season, extending their winning streak.
Before this tournament, the team had already shown impressive form: finishing second at the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) in China by overcoming TES, and winning the second LCP Split. Their dominant performance in the third split allowed them to top the standings regardless of remaining match results.
Deep Cross Gaming currently holds second place with 46 points. Consequently, the spots at Worlds have been secured by the group leaders.
