KT Rolster Swept T1 and Hanwha Life to Rejoin LCK Top Four Race
KT Rolster defeated the top teams of the regular season, ending the first week of Round 3 with a winning streak and rejoining the race for first place.
KT Rolster concluded the first week of Round 3 in the LCK 2026 Season with two consecutive victories, sweeping T1 2-0 and defeating Hanwha Life Esports 2-1 in a tight match. The team has returned to the race for first place after a two-week break.
The match against T1, held on August 29, ended without悬念 for the visitors. KT Rolster took the series 2-0, demonstrating complete dominance at the House of Geng arena.
The second match against Hanwha Life Esports, played on August 2, was more challenging. After intense battles in the first two games, where each team took one set with a crushing score (36:12 and 19:7), KT Rolster won the decisive game by securing control over Baron and solidifying their advantage.
The new member of the team, Park Kang-jun, known by the nickname Penryr, played a key role in closing out the series. His active participation helped the team put a mark on the intense match. After these victories, KT Rolster and Hanwha Life Esports have the same record of 15 wins and 5 losses, but KT's crushing score allowed them to take the lead in the standings.
