Throne and Liberty: Stellar Journey Guide — How to Farm Starry Memory and Why It Matters
With Update 3.34.0, Throne and Liberty added the Stellar Journey system — a new way to grow your character permanently. Unlike most TL progression mechanics, Starry Memory bonuses don't reset between seasons.
Starry Memory bonuses don't reset — every Stellar Journey upgrade stays with your character permanently.
Stellar Journey works on a simple premise: collect Starry Memory from various content sources, then spend them to permanently increase character stats. It's a long-term investment track, not a quick boost.
How to Unlock Stellar Journey
- Open Main Menu → Character → Stellar Journey;
- Requires completing Adventure Codex → Prologue → Prelude first;
- New players: complete the opening adventure chain before accessing this system.
Sources of Starry Memory
- Adventure Codex — daily and story quests. Most consistent source for active players;
- Exploration Codex — region exploration and hidden point discovery. Now displayed by dominion in 3.34.0, making navigation easier;
- Traces of Spacetime — themed content tied to time-limited events.
What Starry Memory Unlock
Each Starry Memory permanently increases one character parameter. Core stat branches include:
- Base attack / magic attack;
- Maximum HP;
- Resistance / armor;
- Secondary stats (movement speed, regeneration).
Connection to the New PvP Season
The new Arena and Battlegrounds season launched alongside Stellar Journey, with rank-based honor rewards. Permanent Stellar Journey bonuses apply in PvP — relevant if you're targeting top ladder positions.
Note: DOT damage (Ignite, Poison) was reduced by 50% in 3.34.0. If your PvP build relied on DOT stacking, revisit it before climbing the ranked ladder.
Optimization Tips
- Clear Adventure Codex daily — top priority for Starry Memory income;
- Use the updated Exploration Codex by dominion view to avoid missing farming spots;
- Don't delay Stellar Journey — bonuses are permanent and compound over time;
- Check your PvP build before the season: the DOT nerf is significant.
