Thermaltake Dr. Power III Pro ATX 3.1 PSU Tester Restocked
Thermaltake has restocked its Dr. Power III Pro, a dedicated ATX power supply tester now supporting the latest ATX 3.1 standard. The unit (model AC-083-OO1NAN-A1) is available at select shops in Akihabara for approximately 7,980 yen.
The Dr. Power III Pro is designed to diagnose the output status of ATX 3.1 compliant power supplies in real-time. It features a clear color LCD panel that displays test results easily. Users can switch between two modes: a manual mode where you press buttons to toggle through results, and an automatic mode that runs continuous tests.
The device includes a diagnostic system capable of identifying critical issues such as low voltage, high voltage, or no voltage. If an abnormality is detected, the tester alerts the user with a red warning icon on the screen and an audible beep sound.

In terms of compatibility, the Dr. Power III Pro supports a wide range of connectors found in modern systems. It accepts the 24-pin main motherboard connector, the 4+4 pin ATX12V connector, the 12+4 pin 12VHPWR (formerly known as 12V-2x6) connector for high-power GPUs, the 6+2 pin PCI-E connector, the 15-pin SATA connector, and the 4-pin peripheral connector.

Physically, the unit is compact with dimensions of 74.8 x 135.8 x 24.4 mm. While it is a specialized tool for enthusiasts verifying their PSU's safety and compliance, it is worth noting that this specific model is currently available through partners like Tsukumo Computer Main Store, Oriospec, and PC Shop Arc.
