The International 2026 Final Prize Pool Announced

The International 2026 has concluded in Shanghai with a record-breaking total prize pool of $3,471,382, more than doubling the initial base amount set by Valve.

The tournament's financial structure relied heavily on community engagement through the sale of support bundles. Valve allocated $1.6 million as the foundation, while 30% of every bundle sold—covering team, talent, and community broadcast packages—was directly added to the prize pool. The remaining 50% of sales went to the respective teams, talents, or broadcasters.

The competition unfolded over two weeks at the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center. The group stage ran from August 13 to 16, narrowing the field down to eight elite teams for the main stage. Intense playoff matches took place from August 20 to 23, culminating in the championship finale.

By the end of the event, the combined contributions from fan support and Valve's initial investment resulted in a final prize pool of $3,471,382, marking a successful conclusion to the 2026 Dota 2 season.
