The First Descendant 2nd Anniversary: Coupons, Events, and Season 4 Prep

1. Redeem Coupons Before July 8

On July 2, The First Descendant held its 2nd Anniversary Descendant Fest Broadcast and published Patch 1.3.33. The most urgent player-facing part is the broadcast coupons. They are valid from July 1, 08:00 PDT to July 8, 23:59 PDT.

2. Separate Event Timers

Patch 1.3.33 starts anniversary activities including 2nd Anniversary Challenges and Dismantle Ancestors Module Week. Several events run after the July 2 patch until July 14, 23:59 PDT, while the Attendance Memento Shop runs until July 22.

Do not merge dates from different blocks. If an event, shop, or pre-order is listed separately, treat it as a separate timer.

3. Do Not Overread Patch 1.3.33

Patch 1.3.33 is small on direct gameplay changes. Its confirmed improvement makes Descendant animation previews for multi-item set products in the shop look more natural. That helps presentation, but it does not imply hidden balance changes.

The right order is coupons first, time-limited events second, shop check third, and Season 4 preparation after that.

4. Check the Season 4 Roadmap

The broadcast outlined the second half of 2026. July 15 brings Void Intercept Battle: EXTREME, Serena Skill Modules, and Monthly Balance: Blair. August 20 is planned for Season 4: The Great Clash with Mega Dungeon, new Descendant Raven, Transcendent Weapons, Trials, and an official Void Intercept Extreme leaderboard. September 17 lists Ultimate Hailey, Cradle of Evolution, Lounge Storage Trade, and Transcendent Weapon Trade.

Later roadmap points include new Transcendent Weapons & Trigger Modules, Monthly Balance: Freyna, new Descendant Monet, Henosis Sanctuary, Colosseum-A, Ultimate Jayber, and Nell Skill Modules. These are future preparation points, not July 2 unlocks.

5. Prepare Without Guesswork

Season 4 is framed as The Great Clash: Karel's final clash with humanity, a direct strike on Ingris, a massive Vulgus warship above Albion, and Descendants infiltrating the ship. The mystery of Amon and Magister also begins to unfold.

That gives direction, but not exact builds for Raven, Ultimate Hailey, or future Transcendent Weapons. Redeem the resources, complete timed events, avoid spending rare materials on unconfirmed assumptions, and treat July 15 as the next gameplay checkpoint.
