TES Defeat AL in LPL Derby at Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage
TES defeated AL during the second round of the League of Legends World Championship Swiss Stage. With this win, TES moved to a 1-1 group, while AL dropped to the 0-2 group, facing elimination risk.
The match, held at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, saw intense skirmishes in the bot and mid lanes early on. Although TES lost a crucial fight for the Mountain Drake at the 23-minute mark, they responded effectively near the Baron pit, where JackeyLove (Wei Yuanbo) secured a triple kill on Kalista.
Capitalizing on the momentum, TES dominated the map. A decisive fight in the top lane at the 27-minute mark resulted in four kills against AL, pushing the gold lead beyond 5,000. After securing the Mountain Drake and winning a subsequent teamfight, TES marched into the enemy base to destroy the nexus and end the series.
