stanislaw posts career-first 1v5 in ECL grand finals series versus OG
It took 12 years, but stanislaw finally has a 1v5 under his belt. The veteran Canadian IGL Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz added a long-awaited accolade to his resume after clutching his first 1v5 against OG in the grand finals of the fourth ESL Challenger League Season 52: Europe Cup.
The statistic is a bit surprising as stanislaw has been in the game for 13+ years with HLTV maps all the way back to 2014, however it took the IGL until today and a move to Europe for the opportunity to arise while playing for Metizport.
The 1v5 over OG came at just the right time as it broke an 8-8 stalemate between OG and Metizport on map three of their grand finals series, paving the way for Metizport to push past OG and take the series 2-1.
Shortly after the 1v5, stanislaw had another pivotal moment in round 24 as he managed to stop a defuse by Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro in a 1v4 which won Metizport the map and thus the series.
Overall, it wasn't a bad day for stanislaw in the office as he ended Nuke with a 1.40 rating despite a 0.88 rating across the series. With the win over OG, Metizport breach the top 70 in the Valve Regional Standing as stanislaw looks to reinvent himself in Europe after a storied career in North America.
