The victory over Team Spirit in the grand final was not just a sporting achievement but also an emotional release for the players. The team had come close to success in many previous tournaments but failed to take the final step.

“It is an incredible feeling. Such a relief. It has been more than a year, and we came close to winning many times. Right now, I am simply enjoying the moment. It is a huge relief,” — said Lotan “Spinx” Giladi.

The Israeli player also praised the team’s performance in the final. He highlighted the atmosphere within the roster and noted that MOUZ displayed an extremely high level of Counter-Strike 2 despite not having their best performance on Ancient.

MOUZ Exceeded Their Own Expectations

“Spinx” admitted that he did not expect the team to achieve success so quickly following PR’s arrival. At the same time, he emphasized that the early triumph would not cause MOUZ to lose focus.

“I did not think it would happen so quickly. I knew we would be strong, but previously we kept reaching only the playoffs. Now we have taken the next big step and won a tournament. However, we need to remain humble and continue working hard,” — added the player.

More Challenges Ahead

Despite the convincing victory over Spirit, “Spinx” is not ready to call MOUZ the leading contender for every upcoming title. He pointed out that the team has yet to face other elite opponents such as Falcons and Vitality, making it too early to draw major conclusions.

“I do not want to get ahead of myself. We defeated Spirit in the final, which is not an easy task, but we have not yet played against the other top teams. Still, I believe we can beat anyone. We will see how things unfold at the upcoming tournaments,” — noted Lotan.

An Important Tournament for Spinx

After lifting the trophy, “Spinx” also shared a personal story. The player revealed that he lost his grandfather a month ago, giving the victory special meaning to him.

“Thank you to my teammates for helping me play this well—without them, I would not have achieved it. I also want to say that I lost my grandfather a month ago. So I dedicate this victory to my entire family,” — shared Lotan.
